acoustic music recording studio for artists

If you are interested in recording at the cellar please feel free to get in touch by emailing us.

I am no pro, but I have been reading alot (and I do mean alot) about recording and over the last few events I have managed to get some fairly decent recordings. I also think that the acoustics in the cellar help with the sound as well.

At present the live sound is recorded without shoving mics infront of the artists, so the vocals are part of the whole live sound on the recordings. I have the mics positioned in the rafters of the cellar so the amount of control I get on the vocals is limited to a degree.

In a demo recording circumstance the vocals can be recorded separately over the top of the guitar track.

If you are interested in recording a demo then please get in touch and we can discuss the amount of tracks you want to do and the cost etc...

You have two options for recording:

Option 1
The guitar sound will be recorded separately via the condenser mic (I like the sound I am getting with it) and the vocals recorded afterwards on a vocal mic.

Option 2
We can record a live sound, where the guitar will be recorded with the condenser mic and a vocal mic infront of you while you sing ;), this is the cheaper option as its less time consuming.

I will then mix the sound and provide a master copy of the final result, you are also welcome to a copy of the un-mastered sound as well.
